Silent Design has won another Build Back Better award in 2023. We have won GOLD and GREEN awards for our super low carbon project at the Builder Crafts College in Stratford in London. This project reused reclaimed lighting from another project along side linear and downlight upgrades from flourescent to LED. Casambi wireless controls were also provided. Front end analytics software was also integrated providing energy and sensor data for the end user.
We provided exterior full colour RGBW LED uplights to the front facade of the building. We also lit the courtyard areas with up and down wall lights again with full RGBW capacity. Lighting controls was supplied with Casambi wireless solutions. A great effect and the client is super happy.

We have been awarded a “Build back better” award in the green category for our work at the BRE HQ in Watford. Our retrofit lighting solution for the linear, track and downlights was praised for a holistic approach which included the upgrading of the lights from fluorescent to LED and the provision for wireless cadambi Bluetooth controls. We also used minimal waste throughout the project and there was no new packaging involved. Everything was recycled as much as possible.

We have just designed the Worlds thinnest LED wall light. 25mm thick! We did it using Tridonic replaceable LED boards and remote Tridonic LED drivers. Using a thick aluminium back plate and running the board at a low current we were able to keep the LEDs running at the correct temperatures. These are going into passenger lifts where space is at a premium. Front disc simply screws on and off to change the finish of the product or service the LEDs should you ever need to. Very sustainable!
